Plant Installation Warranty

To assure the best chance of survival, we follow standard practices endorsed by the American Association of Nurserymen for the storing, handling, transporting, and installation of your grown plant material.

We offer a limited one year, one time replacement warranty. At the time of installation, all new plants are mulched and if appropriate for the time of year, thoroughly watered. Subsequent watering becomes the responsibility of the client, unless otherwise stated in the installation contract. General guidelines for watering are provided below with instructions for plants with specific requirements to be provided as needed. We will replace a Springfield Nursery installed plant of equal quality and value if it is determined by us that replacement is our responsibility. Springfield Nursery will not replace plants due to lack of water, over watering, over fertilizing, transplanting, removal of mulch, premature removal of tree stakes, or improper pruning through the warranty period. Limitations also include damage from animals, insects, lawn or construction equipment, vehicular traffic, pedestrian traffic, improper application of herbicide and pesticides, or violent acts of nature (wind storms, snow or ice damage, fire, etc.). Transplanting of any plant materials, seeding and sod installation by Springfield Nursery, Inc. are not covered under warranty.
